AT THE recent relaunch of AER Music Club, a donation of £2,000 was made to a cancer research facility.
Love Amy, a Newtownards based charity that supports children and young people affected by cancer and invests in the research taking place in Belfast, presented a cheque for £2,000 to Stephen O’Reilly and Aine McGill for the research facility at the Patrick G Johnston Centre for cancer research.
Supporting the ongoing research into the disease is a fundamental part of what Love Amy does. It also gives ‘Smile Grants’ to children and young people affected by disease.
Love Amy was set up by the family of Amy Reid who passed away from cancer at the age of 20 in 2013.
