A well-known Donaghadee business is beginning an exciting new chapter after 57 years in the town, having been established by the Dunn family.
Previous owner Kate Boyd recently retired after an incredible 50 years of working for and owning the business, marking the end of a remarkable era.
The business is now under new ownership with Lisa Bailie, who brings with her 25 years of experience working with Barclays Bank. During her career, Lisa supported businesses and entrepreneurs in the Ormeau Baths community in Belfast, helping them turn their dreams into reality.
Having spent years encouraging others to follow their ambitions, Lisa decided it was time to take some of her own advice and start a business of her own.
Lisa said she is delighted to become part of the Donaghadee community and has been made to feel very welcome.
Importantly, the new chapter continues with two familiar faces. Mandi Stout and Katie McCormack have each worked for the business for more than 25 years, bringing with them a wealth of experience and a deep connection to both the business and its customers.
Mandi and Katie said they were delighted and excited when Lisa told them she was taking over and wanted them to continue working with the business.
“The shop is amazing and the work Lisa has done looks fantastic,” they said.
With its long history, experienced team and new ownership, the business looks forward to building on its strong foundations while continuing to serve the Donaghadee community for many years to come.
