NEWTOWNARDS rider Andy Kildea claimed a class victory at the annual GO Classic Bike Festival Ireland event at Bishopscourt Race Circuit last weekend.
A host of cross-channel visitors gave spectators an enjoyable weekend of racing over the two days, as British Superbike Championship leader Kyle Ryde, North West 200 winner Storm Stacey and Scotland’s Rory Skinner took to the track.
The opening race featured a field of 1000cc, 500cc and 350cc classics, combined with 350cc GP and 125GP bikes.
Stacey took the ex-Gary Cowan 350cc Yamaha to victory, ahead of runner-up Cahal Graham, with Kildea completing the podium in third and securing top spot amongst the classic class competitors.
