Ards Rangers Women 10

ARDS Rangers Women bounced back from their home defeat to St Mary’s two weeks ago with an impressively professional display away to Donegal Celtic last Wednesday night.

Linda Mitchell opened the scoring for the Rangers 19 minutes in, scoring her first goal of the season, before Shannon McCullough and Allie Hamilton made it 3-0 ahead of half-time with two quickfire strikes.

Just like in the first half it was Mitchell again who would get the ball rolling two minutes after the restart with her second of the night to make it 4-0. Hamilton would grab another two shortly after to make it 6-0 and complete her hat-trick, before McCullough grabbed her second of the night to make it 7-0.

Harriet Eadie came off the bench to score her first goal of the season, looping the ball over the ’keeper’s head for number eight, before McCullough rounded off her hat-trick and Hamilton bagged a fourth on the night with an minute to go.
