Ardsman among the winners at Skerries

SUNDAY, July 6 saw the Loughshinny Motorcycle Club host the inaugural Country Crest Sprint, which took place over a small part of the famous Skerries 100 course.
Michael Sweeney was the winner of the Senior class, recording the fastest time of the day on his 600cc Yamaha, Kevin Keyes was second and Shane Connelly third. Sweeney also won the Junior class from Ian Lynch and Shane Carroll.
Dungannon’s Nigel Moore was fastest in the Lightweight event and Newtownards man Andy Kildea took victory in the Yesteryear/Classic section.
