Care home staff retire after 64 years combined service

STAFF and residents from Mount Alexander House in Comber recently gathered to celebrate the retirement of care assistants, Anne Massey and Pauline Jordan.
Balloons, banners and cake marked the occasion as Pauline marked 40 years of service in her role and Anne bringing to a close her 24 years as a care assistant at Mount Alexander.
Manager Angie Taylor paid a glowing tribute to the two much valued and highly respected members of staff.  Angie said, “Throughout their time at Mount Alexander, Anne and Pauline have worked so hard and made such a lasting impression among our residents and staff.
“I want to wish both a very happy and healthy retirement and say a huge thank you for all their hard work from all their colleagues at Mount Alexander.”
