COMBER Rec Ladies came from behind to defeat their Ballynahinch counterparts at Millbridge on Monday evening as they moved above the hosts into fifth in the Division 1 table.
Leanne Watson opened the scoring for Winston Kerr’s team but Ballynahinch drew level on 18 minutes through Stella Keers.
The home side made it 2-1 on the stroke of half-time when Keers found the top corner with a free-kick for her second of the night.
Parity was restored early in the second half with Smyth the Comber scorer, before the same player fired the away side in front on the hour mark.
Comber captain Lucy Carville wrapped up the three points 15 minutes from time as she made it 4-2.
Elsewhere, Ards Rangers Women were 3-0 winners against Rathfriland Ladies at Iveagh Park on Friday night in Division 4 with Caoimhe White scoring twice and Ashleigh Scott-Brown getting the other.
