THE future is bright for Donaghadee Ladies Netball Club following an outstanding display of talent, determination and teamwork from both their U-14 and U-16 squads on finals day.
The U-14 team took to the court to face Valley in the Northern Ireland U-14A Plate final, delivering a performance full of energy and composure.
In what proved to be an exciting and hard-fought contest, Donaghadee rose to the occasion, securing a fantastic 24–17 victory and lifting the Plate in style.
Not to be outdone, the club’s U-16 side followed with a superb performance of their own. Competing in the Northern Ireland U-16C Cup Final, they faced a strong Belfast Ladies team in a closely contested match.
Showing resilience and skill under pressure, Donaghadee emerged as champions with an impressive 26–21 win.
Both teams’ success is a testament to the hard work and dedication instilled by head coach Maureen Caughers, whose guidance and commitment have helped drive the club to new heights.
With such promising young talent coming through the ranks, Donaghadee Ladies Netball Club can look forward to an exciting and successful future.
