Former Comber woman, Dorothy Cummings, who now lives in Bangor, recently celebrated her 101st birthday. She was born Dorothy Weir on October 19, 1921 outside Comber.
Later her family moved to Belfast and when she got married, Dorothy moved to Silverstream in Bangor. She had one son, David and has three grandchildren – Carolyn, Gillian and Deborah – and six great grandchildren.
