ON Saturday, March 21, Gransha Equestrian Centre, near Bangor will play host to schools far and wide as they battle it out to see who will be crowned dressage champions.
This exciting event is open to all primary and post-primary schools. Children will complete a dressage test at their chosen level and the horse and rider combination with the highest marks will win the class. This score can also be used if the rider has formed a team. This is made up of three riders and once they have all ridden their tests, their scores are added together, with the best scores being crowned team champions. If a school cannot make up a team, it is possible to form a mixed team with other schools.
