A MILESTONE celebration took place recently, marking Raffrey Girls’ Brigade’s 70th anniversary.
The company held its anniversary display on Friday, March 20, which was attended by current and former officers and saw a number of awards presented to members who achieved Brigader Brooches as well as Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
The guest of honour was Mrs Latifa McCullagh, former GB NI President and Captain of 12th NI Magheragall Presbyterian Company.
The chairman for the display was the Rev Brian Small.
All sections put on an excellent display, featuring PE, marching, a journey throughout the musicals and singing.
Past officers also formed a choir and took part during the display.
The milestone event highlighted the company’s long-standing dedication to Christian principles and community service.
