The victorious Regent House 1st XI.

IT HAS been a successful week for the cricketers of Regent House School, who this week booked their place in a pair of semi-finals.

The Regent 1st XI advanced to the last four of the Schools’ Cup competition after a comprehensive nine-wicket win against BRA.

The north Belfast school were dismissed for a mere 22 runs thanks to a devastating bowling display from Jaxon Dines and Josh Parker, who claimed four wickets apiece.

Parker wasted little time in the chase, hitting an unbeaten 18 as Regent passed their modest target in just 15 balls.

Regent will now play Sullivan in the last four, who beat Campbell College by 33 runs.

In the other semi-final, holders RBAI await the winners of the Lurgan College v Foyle College tie that was postponed due to the weather last week.
