Scrabo Academy Football Club getting ready for first anniversary

Activity is plenty is the current objectives of the Scrabo Academy who are reaching their first anniversary next month.

IT was in May of last year that Scrabo Academy Football Club was formed.

They certainly are locally a newly-established club but they have already experienced huge developments as they continue to offer football to boys and girls of all abilities – delivered by qualified and experienced coaches.

‘Each child’s development and happiness is always our main priority’. is the main objective of the club and it is indeed a clear and precise expression of their aims and objectives.

Although the club has a firmly respected itinerary at all sessions, Mondays are the busiest night of the week with Club training, from the Little Dribblers right up to the under 12s.

The Academy still has some spaces left within each of the age groups, so new members are always more than welcome to pop down to get involved with the action.

The Academy continues to express thanks to Scrabo Presbyterian Church, Newtownards for letting them use their facilities.

The big current news regards the fact that the club will be holding their very first Easter Camp this weekend – Saturday, April 19 – 10am until 12.30pm in Londonderry Park.

Fully-qualified and experienced UEFA and IFA will be present and the itinerary will include mini-matches, fun skills and team games.

Into the bargain ice-cream and medals will be available with 2019-2011 boys and 2019 – 2012 girls of all skill levels made very welcome.
