WITH support from Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Sports Development capital grant, Scrabo Golf Club in Newtownards took delivery of new battery-powered machinery to replace their previous diesel equipment.Course manager Ken Moore was absolutely delighted to have received the new equipment and Scrabo Golf Club also placed on record their thanks to the council for its support, in particular the assistance from Emma Hingston from the Sports Development team. Neville and Sybil Stewart from Peninsula Mowers supplied the machinery and also present to oversee the delivery was Gary Tully, Kress regional manager for Northern Ireland and north England.
