Open Evening Tells Ards Man Matthew SERC is the best choice for him.

If you’re planning your next move after GCSEs or A-Levels, or looking to make a fresh start by returning to education, a visit to South Eastern Regional College’s (SERC’s) Full-Time Open Evening on Thursday 5 March will give you a glimpse of the real learning for real life on offer at the college.

SERC – Northern Ireland’s top-performing college – delivers courses at all levels up to university degree, including apprenticeships, higher-level apprenticeships and traineeships. Our vocational courses reflect the Department for the Economy’s vision for Northern Ireland.  Come and chat to our tutors at SERC Newtownards Campus on 5th March and discover how you can become part of that vision, by gaining the skills  sought by employers across a wide range of sectors.

After attending open days at several colleges, Matthew Milligan, (aged 16, from Belfast) was the most impressed by SERC, especially in terms of the friendly tutors and the workshop facilities.

    He says,

“The tutors are really supportive, and if you put in the effort, they’ll give it back to you.   My favourite part of the course is the practical work; there’s a theory side as well which helps you understand the impact of what you do in the workshop.  I find it all really interesting.   And there are plenty of opportunities to progress and develop your skills.”

Visit SERC Newtownards Campus between 4pm and 7pm on Thursday 5 March and see how we deliver the skills to set you on the path to your dream career.
