REGENT House pupil Tom Bishop is celebrating after becoming a double motocross champion.
The 15 year-old from Newtownards, who started racing at the age of three, won both the 2023 Motocross Club Northern Ireland (MCCNI) Club and Beyond Signage Championships in the 85cc class.
After nine rounds of the MCCNI Championship, Tom was 170 points clear of second-placed rider James Egerton, while he finished 58 points ahead of next-best William Knox to take the honours in the Beyond Signage series.
Tom’s success this year follows on from finishing third in the Ulster Motocross 12 months ago.
